Insulation Services - Tightening Up a Small Crawl Space in Sea Girt, NJ

This small crawl space in Sea Girt, NJ was allowing outside air to seep in, leading to cold floors and discomfort in the rooms above. The exposed rim joists and uninsulated foundation walls, made of porous cinder blocks, exacerbated the issue. To address this, we installed foam boards on the foundation walls to prevent air leakage into the home. Additionally, we applied spray foam to seal the rim joists and meticulously closed gaps in the foam boards. After a thorough cleanup, the crawl space is now completely sealed, resulting in warmer floors, more comfortable rooms, and reduced energy bills for the homeowner.
