My house has a low crawl space (24")over dirt (crawl space is a 15'-6" x 32'-6" rectangle). The perimeter walls are insulated with 2 layers of 1" white rigid insulation (not too tightly). The underside of the subfloor has old spray foam insulation (closed cell I believe). I have a split system with heat pump which keeps the air temperature at 68 degrees, but the floor feels cool in cold weather and is uncomfortable. Would like to discuss "encapsulating" with new insulation and vapor barrier. I have a temperature monitor in crawl space and it had a low of 45 deg +/- and seems to average around 50 deg.....humidity ranges from 60% to 83%

I don't remember the name of the installer of the on demand hot water heater. He was exceptional as well. the water heater is terrific and the house is more comfortable after the crawl space and attic were insulated. Because of the unusually warm weather it will be awhile before we can compare our gas bills to previous cold periods.

I had a couple other guys here previously and I wasn't thrilled with the presentation or their typical manner with the client. Dave was polished, clear, professional and generally easy to talk to. Questions were answered, there was no rush and it was easy to feel comfortable. You buy the people giving you the product more then the product itself sometimes and he made me feel most comfortable and educated on what we were gonna be getting.
