Insulation Services Photo Album: Crawl Space insulation in Englishtown, NJ

This homeowner in Englishtown, NJ had a poorly insulated crawl space. Any vents in the crawl space were insulated with our SilverGlo foam insulation panels. If the vents are not blocked and insulated then huge quantities of cold and hot air will continue to leak into the house. Cold air causes drafts above the crawl space and cold floors. Warm air causes high relative humidity, condensation and mold that can also cause dry rot. After the vents are sealed up, we use spray foam to seal the rim joists and we installed our SilverGlo foam insulation panels onto the exterior foundational walls.
