SuperAttic in Asbury Park, NJ Protects Ductwork From Extreme Heat
In Asbury Park, NJ, we created a SuperAttic to protect ductwork from extreme attic temperatures.
With little to no traditional soffit area, we installed Foamax along the roofline, draft-blocked the floor joists, and dense-packed insulation behind the Foamax.
The result? Less heat transfer to the ductwork, a more comfortable attic, and reduced HVAC workload. We also added new decking to create a properly insulated, usable storage area.
