The Presbyterian Church on the Hill
Church on the Hill
Collaboration
We are collaborating with Pastor Julie about the process of insulating the sanctuary and rooms on the second floor.
Removing Sanctuary Insulation
We are removing fiberglass insulation from the Sanctuary.
Cleaning Sanctuary
We are removing and bagging up the old fiberglass insulation from the Sanctuary.
Second Floor Rooms
Our team removed the old exposed fiberglass insulation from the second floor rooms and began to prep walk ways in the attic. This is so our crew can move in the attic while working on the insulation part of the job.
Second Floor Attic
Our crew is creating a liner for the TruSoft cellulose insulation that will be blown-in over the liner.
Attic Insulation Liner
We are carefully adding a liner to the attic so our crew can blow-in TruSoft cellulose insulation.
Completed Attic Liner
Our team has finished installing the insulation liner above the second-floor rooms in the attic. This liner will now secure the TruSoft cellulose insulation that will be installed later.
Room with Attic Liner
The second floors room's attic liner.
Laying the Hose Out
We have to lay the hose out and get all the kinks out.
Connecting the Hose
Next we have to make sure all the connections are connected properly.
Feeding the Machine
We have to feed the machine our TruSoft cellulose insulation or what we call baffles. This machine will break up the insulation making it easier to blow in. Also connected to the hose we have a spray so the TruSoft gets blown out dust free.
Blowing-in TruSoft Cellulose Insulation
Now that the prep work is completed, we can blow-in the TruSoft cellulose insulation.
