Lower Attic
Walls protected by 2" reflective radiant barrier foam board, and air sealed by closed cell spray foam. Attic deck dense packed with cellulose to insulate room below. Bathroom fan exhaust encapsulated by R-8 insulation.
Kneewall Sealed
Reflective radiant barrier foam board covers wall bordering bedroom inside house. Air sealed to ensure no air passes through into the bedroom.
Cellulose Dam

Soffit Vents
Soffit vents are installed to properly vent the attic with outside air to prevent the build up of moisture.
Second Attic
Cellulose is sprayed to maximize the R-value of the insulation on the ceiling of the rooms below. Cellulose is also densely packed under the plywood walking deck to ensure that area is insulated as well.
Meticulous Air Sealing

Attic Stair Cover
The attic stair hatch was insulated with a reflective cover to ensure the opening did not leak air.
